Day 22, Xiamen
Plenty of errands had to be run in preparation of the journey across the Pacific Ocean, so the whole day was set aside for running them. We started by taking the underground to the Southwestern part of the island.

How about some jellies with larvae and worms?

Despite the appealing jellies we decided on a strawberry milk and mango snow (Taiwanese style) instead.

Zhongshan Road 中山路, the main shopping street in Xiamen 厦门. Not too crowded on a working day before noon.

Once a new suitcase was found and some redundant luggage sent away, we had time to stroll through the Nanhu Park 南湖公园.

What the purpose of these useless steps is, only Tonatiuh knows. Actively make the pavement inaccessible for wheelchairs?

Placement approved by a certified feng shui 风水 expert!

Finally found some gongbao chicken 宫保鸡丁 at a restaurant appropriately named Old Shanghai 老上海!

Waiting for someone to have his hair bleached...
