Day 20 and leg 9, Xi’an - Fuzhou
Due to the change in schedule of the ship we had to come to the coast earlier than originally intended, so we took G862 from Xi’an North 西安北 to Fuzhou 福州, departure 10:28 and arrival 21:19 - a bit longer than an ideal day train journey, but
we had no real choice in this case.

On Xi’an 西安 underground towards Xi’an North 西安北!

G trains are the fastest in China, travelling over 300 km/h. Still took more than 10 hours from Xi’an 西安, though.

Somewhere in Henan 河南 province.

Crossing Chang Jiang 长江 upon arrival in Wuhan 武汉.

Even I as a close friend of Taiwanese 台湾 baking could not accept this "sushirulltårta" - the sushi filling was salty, as expected, but the bread was heavily sweetened. Yuck!

Arrival in Fuzhou 福州 precisely 21:19, as scheduled.
