Day 71 and leg 20, Halifax - Hamburg
Today we got a tour of the boat’s insides!
ACL’s Atlantic family ships and combined container and roll-on, roll-off ships, which means they can transport items on wheels too, such as cars...
... or tractors.
We got to see the engine room (hot and noisy!) as well as the rooms with generators for electricity and oil for the rudder.
In the evening we had a party with barbecue food and cakes due to the chief engineer’s birthday!
